In the first quarter of 2025, the Brazilian market for music and podcast apps on Android showed dynamic trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these top apps demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating around the 200K mark, peaking at approximately 230.9K in early January. The app's weekly revenue saw a significant rise, starting at $62.5K and reaching a high of $87.9K by mid-March. Active users remained robust, hovering around 41M throughout the quarter.

Deezer: Music & Podcast Player experienced moderate weekly downloads, peaking at 60.8K in mid-March. Revenue showed a steady increase, climbing from $43.4K to a peak of $53K in early February. Active users were consistent, remaining around the 5M mark.

Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts saw a dip in weekly downloads from 49K to around 35K by the end of March. Revenue was relatively stable, fluctuating between $39.4K and $49K. Active users were around 2M, with a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter.

Apple Music showed a gradual increase in downloads, reaching 12.2K by early March. Revenue also increased from $3K to a high of $4.9K. Active users saw a decline from 303K to approximately 272K by the end of March.
